About the Chehalem Mountains Winegrowers
Our mission is to educate, engage, and excite wine lovers from around the world to dive deeper into the Chehalem Mountains community and discover the diversity and character of our AVA. We promote active engagement of our members to share strategies and ideas that elevate and advance our mission. By joining you gain access to our resources, website, social promotions, board leadership, and events such as the Magic in the Mountains.
WHY JOIN?
REPRESENTATION: Representation, leverage, and visibility of our AVA and membership to outside organizations such as Oregon Winegrowers Association (OWA), Oregon Wine Board (OWB), Willamette Valley Wineries Association (WVWA), Washington County Visitors Association (WCVA), Travel Oregon, Willamette Valley Visitors Association (WVVA), Taste Newberg, and many more.
COMMUNITY & NETWORKING: Foster a collaborative community for members with similar microclimates and winemaking sites. Network with owners, principals, vineyard managers, and winemakers. Gain access to insights and best practices on all aspects of the wine business, including a twice-yearly membership meeting.
EDUCATION: Hear from guest speakers on topics and concerns specific to your AVA and region, including technical tastings, vineyard reports, and legislative updates.

LOW COST: For only $150 – $250/year, you join a localized membership organization of owners and vineyards with similar concerns and issues.
WEBSITE PRESENCE – Featured listing on chehalemmountains.org, the go-to digital destination for customers researching wineries and vineyards in the Chehalem Mountains AVA. Each winery will have a dedicated page where they can share winery, tasting room, and vineyard details as well as promote their events.
QUARTERLY-NEWSLETTERS: Things members should know such as the impact of legislation, new farming practices, partnership perks, and promotional opportunities.
SOCIAL MEDIA AMPLIFICATION – Your message with reposts by the Association Instagram and Facebook profiles.

THE CHEHALEM MOUNTAINS NEIGHBORHOODS PROJECT: This multi-year research project, led by David Adelsheim, Harry Peterson-Nedry, and Carrie Kalscheuer endeavors to scientifically define the taste profile of each “neighborhood” in the Chehalem Mountains.
NEW CHEHALEM MOUNTAINS AVA SIGNAGE: Be the first to procure our new AVA signage for member wineries and vineyards identifying the AVA on major roads. The new signs will feature an updated design incorporating our new logo and be printed on durable weatherproof materials.
