The Ponzi family moved to the Willamette Valley in the late 1960s with a passion for producing world class cool-climate Pinot noir. After an extensive search, they invested in a small 20-acre farm in the northern region of the Willamette Valley and in 1970 established Ponzi Vineyards.
Since that pioneering start more than 50 years ago, Ponzi Vineyards has become internationally acclaimed for its Pinot noir and Chardonnay, remaining at the forefront of the nation’s top wine producers and attracting international attention. In 2021, Ponzi Vineyards became the first investment outside of France by the venerated Groupe Bollinger, positioning the brand to achieve even greater heights over the next 50 years and beyond.
