The month of February is about celebrating all kinds of love, so we want to share some of the wines we love from the Chehalem Mountains. We have cultivated a world-class trio of delicious, romantic wines—made with dedication and heart—to celebrate love all year long:

Compris Vineyard- 2018, 3- Clones Pinot noir 

To start off the trio, we recommend Compris Vineyard’s 2018, 3- Clones pinot noir. This medium-bodied wine with fine-grained tannins includes initial aromas of brown sugar and cardamom. Emulating from these aromas is a dense core of bing cherry and plenty of red fruit flavors. The palate follows with a warm, long finish. This pinot went through three separate fermentation processes, blending the three clones together just before the bottling process. The separate fermentation process allows the flavors to work together, by creating the perfect expression in one bottle. 

Anacreon Winery- 2021, Avec Amour Pinot noir Rosé 

The second wine we want to introduce is Anacréon Winery’s 2021, Avec Amour pinot noir rosé; a classic, dry and sophisticated wine that’s perfect to share with your partner. Anacreon’s 2021 vintage rosé is rich and elegant on the palate, showing red fruits, violets, and bright acidity. This wine is undeniably delicious, so don’t wait too long to enjoy a bottle from Anacreon; they sell out quickly!

Dion Vineyard- 2018, Wedding Tree Cuvee Sparkling Wine

Dion Vineyard’s 2018 Wedding Tree Cuvée sparkling wine is a must-try. Sourced from the Willamette Valley AVA, this sparkling blend of pinot noir with a bit of chardonnay is rich and broad. The fruit was picked early for acidity and low sugars, and fermented in a stainless steel barrel before being blended on-site, for secondary fermentation in the bottle. It is aged ‘sur lie,’ a specialty aging process from yeast particles after fermentation in tirage bins for 24-36 months, before disgorging with minimal dosage. Finish off your night some refreshing bubbles!
