- About us: Lia's Vineyard is a family-owned grower of premium pinot noir and Chardonnay first planted in 1990. We think great wine requires great fruit. Fortunately, we have great dirt - a necessary (but not sufficient) condition for producing great fruit. We work hard to realize the full potential of our site. The 50-acre property has 24 under vine: 22 pinot noir, 2 chardonnay. We farm with a light touch, no irrigation and lots of hand work. With the 2007 vintage, we produced our first wines under our own label, ""Longplay."" We make ""analog wine for a digital world"" limited production and food friendly, using traditional winemaking practices. "
