- About us:
We have 58 acres planted to seven clones of pinot noir, two blocks of Dijon 76 chardonnay and two blocks of pinot gris (one to clone 142, the other 156). Under the Carabella label we have two pinot noirs, two chardonnays, a pinot gris and a late harvest pinot gris. Our vines are planted on a southeast slope with an altitude of 500 to 600 feet. Gravelly volcanic soils—Nekia, Saum and Jory, have proven perfect for dry farming our low yielding vines. The vineyard is designed with the aim of creating complex wines. To that end, we have planted seven different pinot noir clones, two distinctly different Dijon 76 chardonnay blocks and two different pinot gris clonal blocks.
